Conveniently located in the Sound Shore communities of Mamaroneck and Rye, the Rye Neck School District is located in the Village of Mamaroneck and serves parts of both Mamaroneck and Rye. The nearby Mamaroneck train station is located approximately 23 miles North of New York City. An express train to midtown Manhattan takes about 35 minutes.
The Rye Neck School Duistrict is comprised of two elementary schools: The Daniel Warren Elementary School for grades Kindergarten-2nd Grade and F.E. Bellows Elementary School for grades 3-5. Grades 6-8 attend the Rye Neck Middle School.
Rye Neck High School serves students in grades 9-12. Rye Neck High School in Mamaroneck was named among the top high schools in New York and was one of only 500 schools nationwide to receive a gold medal rating in the annual U.S. News & World Report Study in 2014. Rye Neck was the ninth-highest-ranked school in Westchester County and 39th in New York. Nationally, Rye Neck was ranked 235th.
